Counted for the class list • packed for the party • handed out with a grin

Tell us how many kids. We have counted the rest.

Non-candy treats that trick-or-treaters actually pick

We have filled a lot of treat bowls. These are the things that empty first.

  1. Give them something to choose
  2. Glow sells itself
  3. Count the street
  4. Keep a second bowl
1

Give them something to choose

Kids like to pick. A bowl with eight designs of bouncy ball or bubble wand gets more attention than a bowl of one thing, and it slows the line down just enough to say hello.

2

Glow sells itself

Anything that glows in the dark is gone by eight o'clock. Our glow-in-the-dark bouncy balls charge under the porch light while they wait in the bowl.

3

Count the street

A quiet street sees 30 to 60 children. A busy one, or a trunk-or-treat, can pass 200. Our Halloween bubble wands go from 80 to 500 to a box, and the prefilled cauldrons from 32 to 72, so you can buy for the street you actually live on.

4

Keep a second bowl

Many families now look for a non-food option. A separate bowl of small toys by the door means every child who knocks can take something home.
